Our Story
Emerald Jewels began with a simple idea – to create Irish jewellery that captures the beauty of Ireland while remaining accessible to everyone.
Founded in Galway in 2025 by Niamh O’Connell and Saoirse Gallagher, the brand was inspired by the Irish landscapes that surrounded them growing up. From the deep emerald greens of the Irish countryside to the golden sunsets along the Wild Atlantic Way, these natural elements became the foundation of Emerald Jewels.
What started as a small home studio quickly grew into something more. Designing and handcrafting pieces for local markets and community events, the founders saw a clear gap in the market — Irish-made jewellery was often either highly expensive or mass-produced overseas. We created Emerald Jewels to bridge that gap.
OUR MISSION
To create affordable, Irish-made jewellery that blends quality craftsmanship with modern design – offering meaningful pieces that can be worn every day.
OUR VISION
To grow into a recognised Irish jewellery brand, both at home and internationally, known for authenticity, accessibility, and a strong connection to Irish identity
OUR INSPIRATION
Every Emerald Jewels piece is influenced by Ireland’s heritage, culture, and natural beauty.
From subtle Celtic-inspired details to the use of emerald tones, our collections are designed to reflect a modern Ireland — one that values tradition while embracing contemporary style.
OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP
We work closely with trusted Irish workshops to ensure each piece meets high standards of quality and durability.
Our jewellery is designed to be:
- Tarnish-resistant
- Comfortable for everyday wear
- Carefully finished with attention to detail
This commitment allows us to create pieces that are both beautiful and long-lasting.
OUR PROMISE
At Emerald Jewels, we believe jewellery should feel personal.
Whether you’re buying for yourself or someone special, each piece is designed to hold meaning — a reminder of a place, a moment, or a connection.
